Paul founded the business in 2008 and leads the OD Consultancy team. He has worked in HR for 20 years and is a Fellow of the CIPD with a BA in Business Management from Strathclyde University. He has leadership development, coaching and counselling qualifications.
Paul has worked in the NHS in Acute, PCT, Community and Mental Health settings and he worked as an Executive Director of HR & OD across London and the South East. He successfully led a turnaround programme in an NHS Trust, delivering significant workforce savings to the organisation.
Paul’s passion is to design and deliver OD programmes to support cultural change. He has facilitated team development events and coaches senior managers and executives. Since establishing Consulting at 216, Paul has led change programmes in the NHS to diagnose and review HR and OD services to make them fit for purpose. Recently he has worked with a Foundation Trust to review their HR service, click here for more information on that assignment.
JOHN MONAHAN - Commercial Director 
John co-founded the business in January 2008 and he brings over 15 years commercial experience in a range of management roles. He has worked in a variety of settings from small enterprises to large complex organisations. His experience covers Operational, Account and Project Management.
John heads up our commercial development and marketing function. He is the lead Director for interim and project management, managing the interface between our network of associates, strategic partners and our clients. More recently, John has become involved in the delivery aspects of the service and has supported change programmes to review HR services to implement the HR business partner model. He was involved in a HR change programme with a Foundation Trust, leading on the assessment and selection process.
John holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin. He is currently undertaking a Master's degree in Human Resource Management.
KAREN WISE - Associate Consultant
Karen has worked in the public and retail sectors in Human Resources & Organisational Development for over 13 years working in a range of HR roles, up to and including Director-level positions.
For the last 9 years Karen has worked in the NHS, most recently in Primary Care. Previous positions have been in Mental Health Trusts and the acute healthcare sector.
Karen has a particular interest in business coaching, management and personal development, she is currently undertaking a Master's Degree Programme in Coaching Psychology. She is MCIPD qualified, having gained a Post-graduate diploma in Human Resources Strategies. Karen's Primary Degree is from the University of Leeds.
CLIVE MARTINEZ - Associate Consultant
Clive is an experienced HR professional with over 20 years in the NHS including eight years at board level before deciding to pursue a career as an HR & OD consultant. He has a strong track record in delivering change both within and across organisations.
He has successfully led workforce aspects of delivering a multi-million pound PFI project and the community health equivalent of PFI. Clive has led on major organisational change projects, he has devised, developed and implemented management development programmes.
Clive is a qualified teacher, a member of the CIPD and more recently qualified as a management coach. His qualifications include a B Ed, and Certificates in Coaching Practice and in Counselling Skills.
JANE HUCKLE - Associate Consultant
Jane has over 17 years experience in the field of Human Resources and Organisational Development. Her career spans many roles within HR in the NHS, her last permanent role was as an OD Manager in a large acute teaching hospital in London.
Jane has been working as a HR and OD consultant for over 7 years, working closely with HR Directors in the NHS to develop Workforce and OD strategies and interventions to support cultural change programmes.
Jane has a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. She also holds a Further & Adult Education Teacher's Certificate.
NILAM VYAS – Associate Consultant
Nilam has a wealth of experience in equality, cultural diversity and management development. She is an associate lecturer in diversity and management studies with the National School of Government. Nilam has been a policy advisor to both public and private sector organisations on Employee Relations.
Nilam has delivered equality and diversity training to a variety of organisations in both the public and private sectors. She is a trained workplace mediator and has facilitated successful mediations for the BMA, the Higher Education sector, and various NHS Trusts.
Nilam’s background spans various fields in the public sector including project and contract management. Her experience also covers a government race equality unit working with employers nationally. Nilam holds an MA and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Hertfordshire.
